BYU Alumni Magazine Mention

Nevada Film Festival 2009

"Dunkball" has been chosen as a Platinum Reel Award Winner at the 2009 Nevada Film Festival.

The Nevada Film Festival takes place on November 20-21 in Las Vegas.

Dunkball: The Sequel

First, an update on the SoCal Film Festival. The movie was well received by over 100 people in attendance at the screening on Sept 14th. Unfortunately, we didn't win for "Best Micro Short" like the All Sports L.A. Film Festival. But I did speak with a fellow director who had just returned from a festival in Atlanta, and he told me that just being an "official selection" of the SoCal Film Festival was a big deal.

Also, we filmed the Dunkball sequel today. I can't say how quickly we will get the editing done. Hopefully it won't take three years like the first one did from filming to the finished product.
